Watch for "A Few Moments at 'MySpace Anonymous,'" a new one-act comedy with music, which will have its world premiere in the Strawberry One-Act Festival, in the Summer of 2008, in New York City.
Written and directed by Chip Deffaa, the play features Stuart Weingartner and Chris Van Kirk.
There might not yet be any such organization as "MySpace Anonymous"...but we know a few people who think there should be.

The Strawberry One-Act Festival will be held at the Baruch Performing Arts Center/The Nagelberg Theater, located at 55 Lexington Avenue, NYC, with access on 25th Street between Lexington Avenue and Third Avenue.

Stuart Weingartner ("Travis"). A graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), Weingartner has toured with the National Theatre for Arts and Education. Favorite roles, among those he has played in his career, include Stanley in "Brighton Beach Memoir" and Seymour in "Little Shop of Horrors."
Chris Van Kirk ("Kirk"). A graduate of the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, Van Kirk performs in New York with the Improv Troupe "Saterville" and the sketch-comedy ensemble "Sketch Me if You Can." He may be see in the film "The Crimson Rose" (Trimedia Productions), directed by Roger Smith.
Chip Deffaa (author/director) has received the ASCAP/Deems Taylor Award, the Irne Award, and other honors for his writing and directing. He was educated at Princeton University and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He dedicates this play to his online friends.
Bridget Leak (associate director/stage manager) is a second year director at The Actors Studio M.F.A program at Pace University. Previous directing credits include: "Pieces" (Manhattan Repertory Theatre); "Clean" (Pace University); "Proof "and "The Lover" (Lycoming College); "Boy Gets Girl," "Stop Kiss,"and "Edmond" (Studio Theater Conservatory in Washington, DC).
Kelly Buck (assistant stage manager) is a student at Rutgers University.
Joyce Liao (lighting designer). Originally from Taiwan, award-winning lighting designer Joyce Liao is lighting three shows of Chip Deffaa's this summer--"Theater Boys," "A Few Moments at 'MySpace Anonymous,'" and "The Seven Little Foys."
Broc Hempel (pianist). A graduate of William Paterson University, jazz pianist Hempel has worked on other shows of Chip Deffaa's, including "The Johnny Mercer Jamboree."
